Yancey County for Nute Nicholson ("we", "us") runs votenute.com. This page explains what we collect when you use the site and the Join the campaign form, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you join the campaign we collect your email address, your name if you give it, and which boxes you checked (volunteer, yard sign, Blueprint conversation). We count anonymous visits and interactions on this site — how long people stay, which parts they read, and whether they start the sign-up form — so we can see how the site is doing. This does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or IP addresses, and nothing is stored on your device. To count how many different people visit each day rather than how many pages get opened, our server turns your network address and browser into a scrambled code that changes every day and cannot be turned back into you, read by anyone else, or matched to your visit on any other day. The address itself is never written down. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your details to send you campaign updates and to follow up on what you asked for, like setting up a yard sign or letting you know about the next Blueprint conversation. We do not sell or rent your information, and we only share it with the service providers that host this site and deliver its email.

Donations

Donations are made on the campaign's secure Anedot page, not on this site. Anedot's own privacy policy covers the details you give there.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop emailing you, or to delete the information you gave us, at any time. Email nutenicholson2026@gmail.com.
